3/24/00 at 11:10pm we lost connectivity through the Lafayette POP and Corporate can't access the Lafayette POP either. I attempted to reroute traffic through Virginia, Houston and New Orleans unsuccessfully, due to an apparent system wide failure. I eventually was able to reconnect through an optional Lafayette access point and have managed to reestablish connectivity at 11:30pm.
Symptoms of this issue include the inability to surf to locations outside of the Whodat.net domain or others directly under its control. All email you attempt to send out will be stored locally until connectivity is restored. All incoming mail will automatically be resent, so no mail should be lost.
